We went out for my birthday tonight with the family and decided to try BJ's Brewhouse in Hillsboro.
I went with the Texas Chicken Fried Steak. The meat was perfectly fork tender and well seasoned. The mixed veggies were a little undercooked for me, but had decent flavor.
Carrie had the Jalapeño Burger, which she must have loved given how quickly it disappeared from her plate.
Andrea decided on the Tuscan Chicken Limone, featuring
Sautéed with garlic, artichoke hearts, sun-dried tomatoes in a lemon butter sauce. Served over delicate angel hair pasta with fresh steamed baby spinach. She says it was delicious.
Andrew went with the classic Bacon Burger, which he enjoyed.
In all it was a decent meal, and a great time with the family. BJ's prices are a bit on the high side for pub fare, but a nice clean restaurant is better than a bar for family dining.
