Cool little Cafe in Cannon Beach, featuring breakfast and lunch with a full service bakery. From fresh baked goods to pizza and burgers, the menu is diverse.
I tried the Savory Bread Pudding, a scratch made bread pudding layered with bacon, cheese, and spinach. Served with a side salad for $8.95
The bread pudding was rich but not as savory as I was expecting. It Could have been seasoned more, but was definitely tasty. The combination of the spinach, parmesan, and swiss mixed well with the bacon, but all was almost overwhelmed by the egg and cream custard. Overall not bad but a little flat.
Carrie had the fish sandwich, which featured an albacore tuna fillet breaded and fried on a standard hamburger bun with lettuce. Fillet seamed small enough to be lost in the bun it was served in. Tuna was fresh if a little heavier on the breading than she would have preferred. An ok but not inspiring meal.
It is a quirky little cafe in classic cannon beach style, and worth a stop for breakfast or lunch if you are looking for quick service and decent prices.
