I love to cook. I'm one of those weird people who look for new cookbooks and recipes like high-school girls look for nail polish. I found this great cookbook over the weekend with recipes from restaurants and shop owners on Brooklyn's Aurthur Avenue, the heart of "Little Italy" .
I planned to cook from this amazing tome tonight, and introduce my kids to the wonder of Beef Bolognese, one of the oldest pasta sauces known, and one of my personal favorites.
The picture above is the result, halfway through the cooking process outlined in the recipe provided by this amazing book filled with the history and foods of one of New York's oldest ethnic neighborhoods.
At least it has some great stories.....
