After recording the video this afternoon for Old World Whiskey Society I needed some food so I headed to my favorite spot for a quick lunch, 9Dang at Orenco Station in Hillsboro.
Thai iced tea is a beautiful thing
The crab and cheese puffs are great as an appetizer
Spicy Drunken noodles with Beef are always a great choice for good meal
To my mind there isn't much better than a thick stew or chowder on a cold winters night. I've done quite a few variations on corn chowder over the years, but got to thinking that throwing some edamame into the pot instead of green beans or peas as the green veg and dumping some curry powder in might make for an interesting twist.
